Beginning the excursion to the Badaling Great Wall, the most gorgeous section of the Great Wall in Beijing. The Badaling Great Wall is the well preserved Ming Dynasty Great Wall with original appearance. Badaling is an ancient military defense project. It is about 1,000 meters above sea level. The Badaling section of Great Wall is about 3, 740 meters long and averagely 8 meters high. The highest section is 15 meters high. The wall is wide enough for five horses to ride abreast. Before having lunch, you will have 45 minutes to have a short visit to the Jade Carving Factory. The jade carving is a famous special Chinese product, a blend of the excellent skill on carving and Chinese traditional cultures.
After yummy Chinese lunch, continue to the Summer Palace, the China largest rayal garden as well as the world's longest art gallery and surrounded by one of Beijing's finest parks. Unbeatable shopping at fresh water pearl market.
