Day 01: Arrival at Beijing
On arrival in Beijing, you will be met by our tour guide and transferred to Holiday Inn Express Temple of Heaven. Free for the rest of the day.
Day 02: Beijing
After breakfast at your hotel, start your tour with the visit to Tiananmen Square, the largest public square in the world. Then move on to the Forbidden City, the Chinese imperial palace from the mid-Ming Dynasty to the end of the Qing Dynasty. After lunch, head to the Beijing Capital Museum, a five-storey building allowing for a maximum of 13 concurrent exhibitions, English and Japanese services are available. Continue to the Temple of Heaven, the place where the emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties worshipped heaven and prayed for peace and harvest. After Beijing Duck dinner, enjoy Peking Opera in the evening. Back to your hotel. ( B L D )
Day 03: Beijing
Half day excursion to the Mutianyu Great Wall, the most beautiful section of the Great Wall in Beijing, an extemely beautiful natural landscape once you are up on the wall, green, densely wooded. The hike takes about 2-3 hours. After lunch, head back to the downtown Beijing to explore the Houhai area - the old part of Beijing and having Hutong tour. Dinner included. ( B L D )
Day 04: Beijing Exit or free on your own
After breakfast, start your morning tour with the visit to the Summer Palace, originally a royal garden and a temporary dwelling palace for emperors of Qing Dynasty. Head to the Olympic Green to have an outside look at the Bird's Nest and Water Cube. After lunch, transfer to airport for departure or free activity on your own. ( B L )
